The Ghouls on Halloween 2010

We love Halloween!  This year Emmy kept up with the big kids and everyone had so much fun trick-or-treating.  After the pumpkin buckets were full, we dropped them off at the house (ate a piece or two), then headed off to a house in our neighborhood that always has a "haunted garage".  This year they had a "wax museum" where various horror film characters were displayed.  Emmy did not want to go in at first, but Grady carried her.  Everyone made it out just fine, however, just as I was about to exit the garage, one of the "wax figures" came to life and tapped me on the shoulder.  I, of course, let out a blood curdling scream which scared Grady & Emmy.  I heard some of the "wax figures" chuckle... :)

Since Halloween was on a Sunday this year and school was the next day, the girls only filled their buckets once.  They normally fill them, come home, dump it, and head out for more with Daddy.  We always end up with enough candy to last us until Easter (at least).  And, this year was no different.  Today, Monday, Macey brought home a slip of paper from school and showed it to Grady.  Grady looked at it and said, "ok, now throw it away before Mom sees it".  I made Macey show it to me and it was a "suggestion" from the school to donate excess Halloween candy to the school for the faculty.  Well, Grady and the girls were having NO part of that! :)

Here are pictures of our little ghouls....

Our Playful Cat
Our Super Girl
(Super Girl's boot covers were not staying up very well, so Daddy put some rubber bands around the tops of them...worked like a charm!)

Hurry and take the picture, Mom, there's candy out there!
This is what 789,450 calories and 3 very happy girls look like!
